Dr. Teade Punter
About the speaker
Dr.Ir. Teade Punter is a professor (lector) in High Tech Embedded Software at Fontys University of Applied Sciences, Eindhoven, the Netherlands. His research group conducts applied research on data engineering, digital twinning and AI for smart systems development, with a focus on cybersecurity in cyber-physical systems. Teade also leads Fontys' Centre of Expertise AI for Society, in which 7 research groups collaborate on aspects of AI such as AI engineering and ELSA.
Before joining Fontys, Teade was a research fellow at the TNO Embedded Systems Initiative, knowledge manager at the Embedded Systems Institute, consultant in Formal Methods at the Laboratory of Quality Software of Eindhoven University of Technology, group leader and competence manager at Fraunhofer IESE in Kaiserslautern, and course team leader at the Open University of the Netherlands.
